CULT Committee
The Committee for Education and Culture of the European Parliament is concerned about possible budget cuts for the 2021–2027 Erasmus+ programme generation. The committee chairwoman has issued two press releases criticising the current proposals of the European Council for the 2021–2027 EU budget.
European Commission
The Erasmus+ budget reached a new record high in 2018 with 2,8 Billion EUR (an increase by 10% compared to the previous year), according to the annual report of the European Commission.
Erasmus+
The European Commission published the call for proposals and the Erasmus+ Programme Guide on November 5. The planned total budget is around 3.2 billion euros.

The trilogue negotiations on the future Erasmus programme are ongoing. The crux of the negotiations between Council, Parliament and Commission is the European Parliament's call for more codetermination in programme development.
