DAAD has addressed the topic of widening inclusion in international higher education activities and in the forthcoming Erasmus programme in an event organised jointly with European partners in Brussels.

DAAD Brussels, the National Agency at DAAD and the German Permanent Representation to the EU invited 60 German university representatives to discuss Erasmus and Horizon Europe (2021-2027) in Brussels.
Based on more than 30 years of experience in implementing the Erasmus programme in Germany, the National Agency at DAAD has developed a feedback on the Commission’s proposal for the future programme 2021-2027.
The directors of the National Agencies with activities in the areas of education and training in Erasmus+ share a number of joint reflections on the Commissions’ proposal for the future Erasmus programme (2021-2027).
The „Alliance“, of which the DAAD is member, asks to increase the budget of the new Framework Programme Horizon Europe (2021-2027) to € 120 Billion.

National Agency within DAAD
The National Agency Erasmus+ for EU Higher Education cooperation in the DAAD has published a position paper with recommendations on the programme’s further development in its second phase (2017-2020) as well as regarding the future programme generation, due to start in 2021.
