New Faces at DAAD Brussels: Welcome Aika von Korff and Lisa Reichert!
Aika von Korff joined us already in mid-June as a Project Assistant supporting the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH). She is also assisting our Director with the implementation of other projects.
Aika von Korff, Assistant to the Director & Project Assistant - European Digital Education Hub (EDEH)After working on EU-Africa relations at the European Commission and studying across Europe, I am happy to have joined DAAD Brussels. It feels great to keep supporting European cooperation within an organisation I respect and admire!
Lisa Reichert joined us in mid-July, strengthening our team as a Project and Event Officer. She will be supporting our team in the organisation of DAAD events, internal and external communications, and in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the office.
Lisa Reichert, Project and Event OfficerAfter almost two years of teaching at a university, I was ready for a new challenge – and to look at the issues I encountered as a teacher from a completely new perspective. I’m thrilled to join the DAAD Brussels Office and contribute to its mission of strengthening international academic exchange!
We are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to working together.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our latest Policy Intern, Eva Maja Dieterich, for her dedication to her work and the positive energy she brought to the office.
Eva Maja Dieterich, Policy InternExperiencing the political buzz of Brussels was truly energising. My internship at the DAAD Brussels Office gave me the opportunity to explore current European policy developments in Higher Education and Research, while gaining hands-on experience with key stakeholders. I’m leaving Brussels with a deeper understanding of European policy-making – and a notebook full of acronyms.
We wish her all the best for the next chapter of her exciting journey.
