The Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), taking place from 9 to 12 September 2025 in Gothenburg, is expected to attract around 7,300 participants, making it the world’s largest event dedicated to international higher education. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will be actively involved, with a delegation including the Director of the National Agency Erasmus+ Higher Education Collaboration and the Director of the DAAD Brussels Office, contributing to the programme through several dedicated sessions.

In 2025, the EAIE will once again bring together the international higher education community for vibrant exchange and strategic networking. DAAD is looking forward to contribute to shaping key discussions in the field of European higher education, to strengthen strategic partnerships, enhance Germany’s profile as a study and research destination, and actively promote international academic exchange at this year’s EAIE. The following list of sessions, poster presentations and booths helps to stay informed about DAAD’s contributions and presence at EAIE.
