Mid-term evaluation of Erasmus+ 2021–2027
5 February 2024
Most contributions came from Germany (14%), followed by Portugal (12%), Spain and Greece (10% each). The individual contributions are not publicly available. The DAAD’s European umbrella organisation, the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), also contributed a policy input, as did the European University Association (EUA), the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and the Guild.
The resolution on the implementation of the Erasmus+ 2021–2027 programme, adopted by the European Parliament on 16 January, has had a significant influence on the interim evaluation of the Erasmus+ 2021–2027 programme. The document contains 122 points, including 78 very specific proposals for improving the current programme and shaping the future Erasmus+ programme. The resolution is based, among other things, on the report by MEP Milan Zver on the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme 2021–2027, which was adopted on 16 January.
The interim evaluation of the current Erasmus+ programme will continue until 2024. The national reports and the final report are due to be submitted in summer 2024.
